Live Right
The world keeps redefining what is right and wrong, but followers of Jesus are not bound by a shifting
cultural standard. The Word of God remains the anchor. Psalm 15 asks a piercing question: who gets
to dwell in God's presence? The answer describes someone who walks blamelessly, speaks truth
from the heart, keeps their word even when it costs them, and refuses to exploit or take advantage of
others. This is not an impossible standard. It is a portrait of what a life surrendered to God actually
looks like in practice.
Living righteously involves seven practical marks: being honest about who you are and where you are
spiritually, coming clean about hidden sin, making wise decisions that reflect genuine growth, falling
more deeply in love with Jesus, leaning on the Holy Spirit for transformation and self-control,
maintaining right relationships with others, and respecting God as God. These are not boxes to check.
They are the natural fruit of a life that is genuinely oriented toward Christ. Jesus is the model, the best
picture of what true humanity was always meant to look like.
The benefits of righteous living are real and tangible. God withholds no good thing from those whose
walk is blameless. There is freedom, peace, and stability that comes from living with integrity. You do
not have to hide, dodge, or look over your shoulder. Grace is not a license to keep sinning. It is the
kindness of God that leads us to change. Jesus did not die simply to change where we are going
when we die. He died to change how we live while we are here.
